I am an artistic restorer of furniture, doors, panels & pretty much anything that is made from wood. Using natural ingredients & traditional techniques I specialise in creating finishes that interpret the passage of time to create a statement piece of furniture or a standout feature within a room.

My preferred painting style is a technique of artificially aging wood to create effects seen with the passing of time. By combining the use of traditional techniques together with the same ingredients still available today, I apply processes that provide an authentic aged look & feel. Casein, albumin, animal glues, natural pigments & beeswax. Stains mixed with water and applied using a naked flame give an incredibly authentic feel. These ingredients & methods are applied in stages and in successive layers making each finish unique as though history has created each imperfection.
