Welcome to the Furniture Archive, a calm corner of Jumbletique where past projects live on. This gallery is a record of dressers, cupboards, tables and one-off finds that have passed through my Fakenham workshop and gone on to new homes. It’s both a visual diary of my work and a place to spark ideas for your own piece.
Every item here started out looking very different. Some arrived worn out with peeling varnish and missing knobs. Others were solid but dated and in need of a fresh chapter. In the workshop they are stripped back, repaired and carefully restored so their character can shine again. Original details are preserved wherever possible and gentle wear, knots and quirks are celebrated, not hidden.
You’ll see a mix of finishes as you scroll through the archive. Soft chalky pastels, rich heritage tones, layered neutrals and hand finished patina sit side by side. Some pieces stay close to their original look with a light touch of restoration, while others are completely reimagined with new colours, hardware or lining.
Use this archive as inspiration if you are considering a commission. You might spot the exact shade or finish you’d like for your own furniture, or the style of handles and carved details that feel right for your home. Most of the pieces shown are now sold, but new work is always underway. If something here catches your eye, you’re very welcome to get in touch to discuss ideas or arrange a visit to the workshop.
