A real statement cupboard ideal for making a feature within a room while at the same time providing loads of extra storage.
As with much of my work I followed the process of using original recipes to create the paint and processes to age the finish with lovely crackles and worn away areas leaving an authentic look and texture of paints from early 18th century or older.
Building up layer after layer of glues and tempera paint the final look is achieved with careful creative staining particularly around the bottom plinth and door edges.
The inside has been repainted with an antique white giving a soft creamy finish.
is lovely and clean and required only very light sanding to make ready for whatever you are going to store.

Please note that all my painted & restored furniture is of a certain age and over the years has picked up knocks and scrapes which add to each piece's uniqueness. The colouring and ageing techniques used during the restoration process also add to the individual style.
