This is a beautiful Regency painted mahogany chest of drawers with splayed feet.
Lovely deep drawers in a standard 2 small over 3 graduating large drawers. Perfect for storing all your smalls as well as those wintry woolies.
I have painted the chest in Farrow & Ball Stony Ground Dead Flat and used a minimal wax varnish with just 5% of satin sheen to seal & protect. The original wood had quite a few age related scars and marks so I opted to paint rather than refinish to make the overall effect more contemporary.
I have staged the drawers in a bedroom setting (as you can see from the AI image 2) but they would work equally well in a sitting room or dining room.

Please note that all my painted & restored furniture is of a certain age and over the years has picked up knocks and scrapes which add to each piece's uniqueness. The colouring and ageing techniques used during the restoration process also add to the individual style.
