It can also be an ideal coffee table or window seat.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a typically well made solid pine blanket box with a strong structure and base.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInside there is a full width compartment with 2 drawers beneath perfect for storing smaller objects. These would have originally been for storing candles. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt has 4 lovely bracket feet meaning it is raised slightly off the floor and has its original metal drop handles on each end making it easy to carry and move around.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe condition of the pine when I acquired it was in a bit of a mess and so keeping in line with its age and heavy use over its life I chose to paint this with a very heavy patina.
